£50 · Step one of three
You probably have a thousand photographs of them.
This is a reminder you can actually hold.
I'm Abbie, a designer goldsmith. I make bespoke jewellery from your pet's own paw or nose — every ridge exactly as they left it.
This first step sends you the Impressions Kit. Soft wax, and instructions for taking two clean prints at home, in your own time, with a treat and a little patience. No vet, no appointment, no stranger trying to hold your dog still.
You don't have to decide what you're having yet. Pendant, bracelet, earrings — that comes at Step Two, once the impressions are taken and we both know what we're working with.
Dogs and cats. Held close after they've gone, or while they're still asleep at your feet.
In the kit
Impression wax, for two prints
Step-by-step instructions

How the three steps work
£50 today. Your kit is posted out. Take your impressions whenever you're ready — there's no deadline.
£50 when you send the wax back. That's when you choose your piece: pendant, bracelet or earrings. Then I carve it by hand and cast it in metal here in the studio.
£50 when it's finished. I'll photograph your piece and send it to you. That last payment is the one that puts it in the post.
Worth knowing
One kit makes one piece of jewellery. If you'd like two — one for you, one for someone else — you'll need a kit each.
£150 covers sterling silver. For 9ct or 18ct gold, a longer chain, or an old ring of your own melted down and made new, email houseofhulkes@gmail.com and I'll quote you.
If the prints aren't going well, get in touch. Most people manage it first time, but not everyone, and I'd far rather send you more wax than have you settle.
