The original solid silver heart pendant by Trouvai, finished with House of Hulkes’ classic fingerprint or pawprint impression.
This collaboration brings together two distinct jewellery practices united by a shared love of sentiment. Known for creating deeply personal fingerprint and pawprint impression jewellery, Abbie joined forces with Anna, who is celebrated for her bold, sculptural silver heart pendants.
We have reimagined Anna’s iconic heart pendant as something both tactile and intimate, where the chunky silver hearts carry the unique imprint of a loved one’s fingerprint or pawprint impression.
The result of this collaboration will be one-of-a-kind heirloom jewellery, designed to be worn close and treasured for generations.

How does it work?
This collaboration will run in batches to allow for maximum efficiency and to ensure each order is handmade with care.
Pre-orders will open for 4 weeks. You must have placed your order and returned your completed kit to us within this pre-order window.
Once you have placed your order, the impression kit will be sent out to you. Kits will include full instructions on how to take the perfect print, as well as the wax heart sample and a tea light candle.
Please return your completed kit to the studio address on your instructions as soon as you can to avoid delays.
If you miss the deadline for returning your kit, your order will be added to the next batch.
Once we’ve received your completed kit, manufacture will commence at the end of the 4 week pre-sale.
Please allow 2-3 weeks for manufacture, you will be notified upon dispatch.
The meeting of sculpture and sentiment.
Created in collaboration between two goldsmiths, this beautiful solid silver pendant brings together Trouvai’s hand-formed silver hearts with House of Hulkes’ signature pawprint and fingerprint impressions.
Once you’ve placed your order, your impression kit will be sent out to you. Follow the instructions in the kit to take the perfect impression. Place your completed impression back into the tin, and post back to the studio at the listed address on your instructions.
Your chosen finger/paw is pressed directly into the surface of the wax, capturing a unique mark that cannot be replicated. Once cast in silver, the fingerprint becomes part of the structure itself, evidence of hands at work rather than machines.
Every pendant is individually handmade in the workshop and will vary slightly, ensuring no two are ever alike.
TIPS:
Take the impression immediately after melting the surface, do not delay as the wax cools very quickly.
Ensure the entire surface of the wax heart is molten before pressing into it. Melt the surface slowly and surely, instead of hot and fast.
Take care with the molten wax as it can be hot.
Try to cover the entire side of the heart with your print.
Once the wax has dried, gently run your nail across the print and ensure that you can feel ‘ridges’.
Please note, the impression will transfer to metal exactly as it shows on the wax heart. We do not/cannot alter the print once we receive it. If you are unhappy with the appearance of the print, gently warm the surface and try again, but if it does not rectify we can provide replacement wax at £15 plus postage. You are more than welcome to purchase the spare wax alongside your initial order if you’d like to have the spare ready to go.

Disclaimer - Please take extra care with the candle when lit, as well as the temperature of the wax when melting. The wax heart does not need to be close to the flame in order to melt the surface. Please be careful particularly when taking impressions from pets and young children, if the wax is placed too close to the flame then it can burn the recipient.
This wax is a spare sample, identical to the one included in the kit that will be sent out with the silver heart pre-order. You are welcome to purchase a spare alongside your pre-order, or you can order one at a later date if you’re unhappy with how your first sample results.
If you choose to order a spare after your initial order, please keep the ‘batch’ dates in mind and ensure you order and return the completed spare within the listed timeframe.

If your order does not connect with a pre-order then this item will be cancelled you will be refunded.
